Description

On October 8, the PGNM laboratory was delighted to welcome donors and volunteers from AFM-Téléthon as part of France’s Fête de la Science, a national event celebrating science and scientific discovery.

The visit began with an introduction by the AFM-Téléthon Lyon–Rhône Sud coordination team, followed by a presentation of the research activities of the Institut NeuroMyoGene and the MyoNeurALP strategic network, delivered by Professor Laurent Schaeffer.

These presentations were followed by lively discussions and Q&A sessions, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn more about ongoing research into neuromuscular diseases.

Visitors then had the opportunity to explore research activities firsthand through a series of interactive and immersive workshops led by our enthusiastic and dedicated speakers: Lauréline Boutonnet, Lola Graizeau, Lucie Ancel, Sozerko Yandiev, Nada Borghol, Perrine Bouvard, Mariette Giannini, Damien Caillol, Vincent Loreau, Edwige Belotti, Chloé Madras, Rémi Neplaz, Céline Malleval and Romane Idoux.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this visit such a success, and to the generous AFM-Téléthon donors whose support is essential to advancing scientific research.
