The team « Chromatin assembly, nuclear domains, virus » led by Patrick Lomonte has been awarded an ANR “Recherche- Action Covid19” grant for the project entitled: « Role of proinflammatory cytokines, PML nuclear bodies, and the HIRA histone chaperone complex in epigenetic changes associated to SARS-CoV-2 infection ».
This projet will analyse the role of proinflammatory cytokines TNF-a, HMGB1 and IFN-I, of PML nuclear bodies, and of the HIRA histone chaperone complex, in the molecular and biological events leading to inflammatory complications associated with Covid-19.

This projet is a collaboration between the team Lomonte, the team of Olivier Terrier (CIRI, Lyon) and the team of Vincent Maréchal (Sorbonne Université, Paris).
